Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an AI Workflow and Systems Design Lead in a remote-capable role. You will partner with business and technology leaders to redesign complex workflows and create AI-ready systems of work, driving enterprise design practices and reusable patterns across the organization.

You will lead discovery, define how people and AI collaborate, and produce implementation-ready designs while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of dynamic experience in systems design, service design, workflow/process transformation, design strategy, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in systems thinking, service design, and workflow design.
• Experience leading sophisticated multi-functional engagements across organizations.
• Strong AI fluency, including generative AI, agents, automation, and AI-enabled workflow patterns.
• Strong visual communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex systems.
• Willingness to travel for engagements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Workflow Reinvention and Systems-of-Work Design across business and technology teams.
• Design end‑to‑end systems of work linking front-stage experiences with backstage processes, data, and AI agents.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align multi‑functional teams toward future-state decisions.
• Translate workflows into clear, implementation-ready design artifacts and patterns.
• Collaborate with business leaders and BRMs, Architecture, Data, Engineering, and Governance during discovery and design.
• Partner with the Senior Director to advance CSAA's Enterprise Systems Design methods and templates.
• Support implementation teams with design intent during build and delivery.
