Job summary

Invoca is seeking an AI Operations Lead to own a pivotal, hands-on role in building agentic workflows and AI-powered automations across the company. You will drive the AI Operations roadmap, build agents in Claude and Gumloop, and ensure ongoing adoption, maintenance, and measurable business impact.

You will mentor other builders, maintain templates and documentation, and represent AI Operations to leaders across functions.

Qualifications

3–8 years in operations, process design, automation, or a similar hands-on role.
Tools, automations, or agents you've built that others still use.
Hands-on experience with LLM platforms and agentic workflow tools. We build in Claude and Gumloop; Make, Zapier, or n8n experience transfers.
Enough technical depth to work with APIs, integrations, and data flows.
Judgment about what's worth automating.
A mix of coaching and building skillset.

Responsibilities

Build agents and own AI Operations roadmap, prioritized by business impact.
Scope, build, and ship agents in Claude and Gumloop, from first conversation to daily use.
Stay with each agent past launch: rollout, adoption, iteration, and maintenance.
Report impact to executives and functional leaders (adoption, hours returned etc).
Own Invoca's agent standard and ensure it is practical and followed.
Coach and support other builders across the business.
Maintain templates, patterns, and documentation to avoid re-solving the same problems.
Run the internal builder community, including office hours and the builder steering group.
Represent AI Operations to the cross-functional steering group, sharing roadmap and tradeoffs.
Own the AI platform stack and vendor relationships; manage access and first-line support.
Keep agent registry current with named owners and documented purposes.
Run security and data reviews for new agents with IT and Security.
Advise on customer-data agents built in Databricks.
