Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking an Accountant (CaseWare) to prepare AFS for a simulated portfolio of small owner-managed companies. You will document steps, judgments, and methodologies to train an AI accounting workflow and help design end-to-end AI-enabled processes.

You will work directly with the founder and AI partner, with 100% remote setup, USD payments, and dedicated CaseWare licensing. This is a long-term, permanent role focused on AI-enabled accounting excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CaseWare experience including file setup, trial balance import and mapping, roll-forward, adjusting journals, and updating notes and comparatives—this is a hard requirement

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements (AFS) from year-end trial balance to signing pack
• Document steps, decisions, and judgments for AI training
• Design and refine AFS workflows for AI follow-up
• Test AI against your work and fix discrepancies
• Assist in building AI models by mapping accounts and drafting notes
• Manage simulated client portfolios and coordinate with an AI partner
