Hire Overseas is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage the monthly accounting cycle for a portfolio of small clients, including payroll and reconciliations, with an emphasis on documenting workflows for AI training. You will work directly with the founder and an AI partner to shape the AI-driven accounting process.

The role focuses on high-quality training data, testing workflows, and maintaining professional standards for month-end deliverables in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• BCom in Accounting or National Diploma in Accounting.
• 0–2 years in accounting practice or finance team.
• Hands-on month-end experience and journal posting.

Responsabilités

• Run monthly accounting cycle including payroll capture and reconciliations.
• Prepare EMP201 and VAT201 returns as applicable.
• Draft monthly management reports with commentary.
• Document workflows and decisions for AI training.
