Job summary

Kendall Hunt Publishing Company is seeking an Acquisitions Sales Representative to build lasting partnerships with college professors and to drive opportunities in its designated territory. You will interview educators, identify business potential, and persuade candidates to collaborate as Kendall Hunt authors.

The role is remote with approximately seven weeks of overnight travel per semester, alternating between working from home and campus visits. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel overnight; approximately 7 weeks per semester.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with college professors and identify business opportunities.
• Travel to colleges and universities in your territory to interview professors and persuade author candidates.
• Develop lasting partnerships and help create interactive materials for Kendall Hunt authors.
