Kendall Hunt Publishing Company is seeking an Acquisitions Sales Representative to build lasting partnerships with college professors. This is a remote position with approximately 7 weeks of overnight travel per semester, alternating between one week working from home and the following week on a college campus.

The ideal candidate will be located in Ohio (Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland or Dayton). You will interview, listen for business potential, and persuade select candidates to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness to travel ~7 weeks per semester.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview professors to identify opportunities and candidates.
• Develop partnerships with colleges and universities in your territory.
• Persuade author candidates to work with Kendall Hunt.
