Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Strategic ACO Contract Manager to lead complex provider contract negotiations and oversee the full lifecycle from drafting to renewal, aligned with value-based care objectives. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Professional Experience: At least eight years in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Contract Negotiation Expertise: Demonstrated success negotiating healthcare service and provider contracts, including value-based methodologies and ACO arrangements.
• Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Experience in health plan operations or provider operations.
• Provider Contracting Knowledge: Understanding of provider contracting strategies, risk-based agreements, and data analytics.
• Financial Acumen: Ability to evaluate complex financial arrangements and healthcare quality programs.
• Legal and Contractual Understanding: Interpret and assess legal documents and complex agreements.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain external relationships with trust and clear communication.
• Communication and Presentation: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate scenarios and propose effective contracting solutions.
• Adaptability: Flexibility in developing terms addressing changing business needs.
• Remote Work Eligibility: Primary home in allowed states.
• Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Contract Negotiation and Development: Draft and evaluate provider contracts aligned with financial objectives and templates.
• Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee contracts through initiation, negotiation, execution, renewal, amendment, and closure.
• Contract Maintenance: Update language, fee schedules, and reimbursement terms with policy changes.
• Provider Relationship Management: Build relationships with healthcare providers and contracting leaders.
• Issue Resolution: Address provider concerns and resolve disputes.
• Network Performance Evaluation: Assess provider and network performance for cost and quality improvements.
• Network Development and Adequacy: Support recruitment and expansion of provider networks.
• Value-Based Contracting: Develop ACO and other value-based models.
• Financial and Strategic Analysis: Evaluate financial arrangements and operational implications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align contracts with business priorities and regulatory needs.
• Additional Responsibilities: Support contracting objectives as needed.
