Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company in the United States, is seeking an experienced Strategic ACO Contract Manager. You will lead complex contract negotiations with hospitals and physician groups, develop value-based contracting strategies, and manage the full lifecycle from negotiation to renewal and performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in healthcare contracting, strong financial modeling skills, and a track record in risk-based agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least eight years of related work experience in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Strong understanding of provider contracting strategies, risk-based agreements, reimbursement structures, financial models, and data analytics.
• Legal and contractual understanding for interpreting complex agreements.
• Ability to build and maintain external relationships with trust and credibility.
• Strategic thinking to evaluate scenarios and craft contracting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts aligned with financial objectives and reimbursement guidelines.
• Oversee contracts from initiation through execution, renewal, amendment, and closure.
• Maintain contract language, fee schedules, and terms with policy changes.
• Manage provider relationships and resolve disputes to support long-term partnerships.
• Evaluate network performance to identify opportunities for cost, quality, and service improvements.
• Contribute to network development, recruitment, and provider-facing marketing.
• Develop innovative contracting arrangements, including ACO and value-based models.
• Perform financial and strategic analysis of complex arrangements and risk-based contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contracts with priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Support overall provider network objectives with cross-functional teamwork.
• Remote work eligibility: must be authorized to work in the United States and reside in eligible states.
