Jobgether is partnering with a healthcare organization in the United States to recruit a Strategic ACO Contract Manager. The role focuses on negotiating value-based contracts, managing provider relationships, and overseeing the full contract lifecycle from negotiation to renewals.

The ideal candidate brings eight or more years in healthcare contracting, strong financial acumen, and the ability to craft innovative ACO arrangements while collaborating across internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least eight years of related work experience in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Experience negotiating healthcare service and provider contracts, including value-based methodologies and ACO arrangements.
• Knowledge of health plan operations, provider operations, or related healthcare environments.
• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and contract language.
• Proven ability to build and maintain external relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic thinking with ability to develop contracting solutions.
• Adaptability in changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts aligned with financial objectives.
• Oversee contracts from initiation to renewal and closure.
• Maintain contract language and fee schedules with policy changes.
• Build trusted relationships with providers and contracting leaders.
• Resolve contract disputes and support long-term partnerships.
• Assess network performance and identify cost/quality improvements.
• Contribute to provider recruitment and network adequacy initiatives.
• Develop innovative ACO and value-based contracting models.
• Analyze financial structures and identify viable solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align contracts with priorities.
