Qualifications

• A high school diploma with two years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, public administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting record-keeping practices and basic accrual accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness to maintain positive vendor relations.
• Authorize invoices and ensure they are approved by the proper client personnel.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs; maintain audit trails.
