Charter Impact seeks an Accounts Payable Associate to deliver frontline client support in a remote-first environment. You will process invoices, vendor setup, GL coding, and weekly check runs across multiple entities while maintaining accuracy and strong client service.

Based remotely, you will engage with clients via email and phone, ensure compliance with procedures, and assist with year-end audits. Strong Excel skills and experience with Sage Intacct are valued in a nonprofit accounting

Qualificações

• High school diploma and 2 years of related experience, or a BA in business, accounting, or related field.
• Accounts payable experience preferred.
• Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; strong English usage.
• Ability to work in a team, adapt to change, and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure proper invoice approvals and internal controls.
• Verify cash availability and select payments.
• Issue and reissue checks, process rush payments.
• Code invoices to General Ledger accounts and maintain vendor files.
• Generate AP aging and weekly check registers for clients.
• Maintain recurring payments and respond to inquiries.
