Charter Impact is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate for a remote-first role supporting clients nationwide. You will manage invoices, ensure proper approvals, and maintain vendor files across multiple entities, with weekly check runs and audit preparation support.

Strong Excel and nonprofit accounting familiarity are preferred. The position emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and professional communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable processes for multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and maintain client accounts payable records.
• Ensure proper client approvals and GL coding.
• Prepare weekly check runs and manage vendor files.
• Respond to client inquiries via email and phone.
• Assist in year-end audit preparations.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
