Charter Impact is a remote-first organization serving non-profit clients and charter schools across the U.S. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate who will handle front-line client support, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and general ledger coding with accuracy and professionalism.

This role supports multiple entities, manages weekly check runs, and ensures timely payments while maintaining audit trails.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and processing invoices.
• Familiarity with general ledger coding and expense reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness.
• Approve invoices by proper client personnel.
• Verify cash availability and select payments.
• Prepare rush payments and maintain vendor files.
• Generate AP aging and weekly check registers.
• Maintain recurring payments and respond to inquiries.
