Charter Impact, a remote-first nonprofit financial partner, seeks an Accounts Payable Associate in Utah. You will support clients via email/phone, process invoices, and maintain vendor records for multiple entities.

This role emphasizes accuracy, control, and timely payments. Requirements include a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree, AP experience preferred, Excel proficiency, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in business/related field required.
• Accounts payable experience preferred.
• Knowledge of financial record-keeping and accrual accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness.
• Approve invoices with proper client authorization and control.
• Verify cash availability and select payments.
• Maintain vendor files and GL coding for invoices.
• Prepare and review weekly check runs and aging reports.
• Respond to client inquiries via email and phone and resolve discrepancies.
