Charter Impact is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support clients remotely from Dallas, TX. You will process invoices, code general ledger accounts, maintain vendor records, and execute weekly check runs across multiple entities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or degree in business/ accounting and at least two years’ AP experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with non-profit accounting systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and two years of related experience OR a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field.
• Accounts payable experience preferred.
• Familiarity with financial record-keeping and basic accrual accounting.

Responsabilités

• Process accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness across multiple entities.
• Ensure invoices are approved by proper client personnel and coded to GL accounts.
• Maintain vendor files and distribution codes; perform weekly check runs.
• Prepare data entry and GL coding for invoices; generate AP aging reports.
• Communicate discrepancies and respond to inquiries from clients and vendors.
• Support year-end audit schedules and special projects as needed.
