We seek an Accounts Payable Associate who combines an upbeat, customer-service mindset with precise, guideline-based issue resolution for client accounts payable matters.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to code invoices, perform reconciliations, and communicate effectively with clients and multiple entities.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma with two years related experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• Accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of financial record-keeping practices.
• Understanding of accrual accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong English usage and grammar.
• Ability to perform accurate arithmetic and prepare financial reports.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar nonprofit accounting systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness to maintain vendor relations.
• Verify availability of cash and perform payment selections.
• Enter invoices and code to general ledgers for multiple entities.
• Generate accounts payable aging and share with clients as needed.
• Notify clients of vendor discrepancies and follow up.
• Resolve inquiries from clients and multiple entities via email and phone.
• Generate use tax reports and submit to the AP Analyst.
• Assist in special projects and year-end audit schedules.
• Support process improvements and new technology for clients.
