Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations, ensure accurate reporting, and uphold strong internal controls. The role reports to the Controller and mentors a small accounting team.

The ideal candidate has GAAP expertise, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and hands-on NetSuite and advanced Excel skills. This remote position operates within Lumelight's approved state list.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years progressive accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP required.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Records/approves accounting transactions under GAAP.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations and analyzes variances.
• Acts as SME to internal and external customers regarding requests and questions.
• Posts and reviews journal entries.
• Updates policies and procedures related to finance and accounting activities.
• Manages the Staff Accountant and delegates tasks.
• Assists Controller and CFO in identifying and mitigating risk.
• Supports annual audits and tax returns.
• Documents processes and recommends improvements.
