Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations, ensure GAAP accuracy, and support monthly and annual close. You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls while mentoring a small accounting team.

The role requires strong accounting expertise and leadership in a remote-capable environment. Ideally you hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge is required and should be applied consistently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (NetSuite).
• Willingness to take on new duties and projects in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Record/approve accounting transactions per GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and post adjustments.
• Serve as SME for internal/external questions.
• Post and review journal entries.
• Update finance/accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage and delegate tasks to Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO in risk mitigation.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
• Document processes and suggest improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
