Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations within a growing finance team. This role reports to the Controller and focuses on accuracy, close processes, and strong internal controls in a remote-friendly environment.

The ideal candidate has GAAP expertise, leadership experience, advanced Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite or similar ERP. Public accounting or audit background is a plus, with a bachelor’s in accounting or finance and CPA- track

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and ability to apply complex accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document processes clearly.
• Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions per GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and provide corrections feedback.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts; post adjustments as needed.
• Lead and mentor Staff Accountant; delegate tasks effectively.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and audits.
• Assist CFO/Controller with risk mitigation and compliance tasks.
• Document processes and drive continuous improvements.
