Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations in a remote-capable role. You will oversee journal entries, the month-end close, internal controls, and collaborate with the Controller and CFO to ensure GAAP compliance.

This role requires strong leadership of a small accounting team, advanced Excel and NetSuite skills, and the ability to improve processes across a multi-state or professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Preferred CPA or CPA-track.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and GAAP compliance.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support annual audit, tax returns, and other compliance tasks.
• Mentor and lead a small accounting team.
• Develop and improve internal controls and processes.
