Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations, reporting to the Controller. The role focuses on GAAP-compliant recording, month-end close, and internal controls while supporting reporting and audits.

You will mentor a small accounting team and partner with the CFO on risk management. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, NetSuite experience, and advanced Excel skills, with CPA or CPA-track preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills required for complex accounting issues.
• Ability to lead and mentor a small accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and GAAP-compliant postings.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual reporting processes and audit preparations.
• Mentor Staff Accountant and drive process improvements across accounting functions.
• Assist Controller and CFO in risk mitigation and compliance tasks.
