Job summary

Lumelight seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, support monthly close, ensure GAAP compliance, and lead a small accounting team. You will partner with the Controller and CFO to drive accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong NetSuite and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Records/approves accounting transactions within GAAP.
• Reviews balance sheet account reconciliation and analyzes accounts.
• Serves as resource for internal/external customers.
• Posts and reviews journal entries.
• Participates in updating finance/accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage and delegate tasks to Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO with risk mitigation.
• Assist with annual audits and tax returns.
• Document processes and propose improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
