Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy, and support monthly/annual reporting. This role reports to the Controller and mentors a small accounting team to drive operational excellence.

Ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to improve processes within a remote-ready work environment. Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Records/approves accounting transactions within GAAP guidelines.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations and analyzes accounts; posts adjustments.
• Serves as a resource for internal/external customers on accounting topics.
• Posts and reviews journal entries as required.
• Participates in updating policies and procedures for finance activities.
• Mentors Staff Accountant and supports Controller/CFO in risk mitigation.
• Assists with annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
