Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting.

The role leads a small team, drives process improvements, and collaborates with the Controller and CFO to mitigate risk.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and ERP experience with NetSuite; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex accounting issues with judgment and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to mentor others.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Record/approve accounting transactions per GAAP guidelines.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations; post adjustments as needed.
• Post and review journal entries; support month-end close.
• Assist Controller/CFO in risk mitigation and policy updates.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team; document processes.
