Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen internal controls. The role reports to the Controller and involves overseeing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

You will provide leadership and mentorship to a small accounting team, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with compliance and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ~4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions following GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and correct errors.
• Manage month-end close and financial reporting support.
• Mentor a small accounting team and support audits and tax returns.
• Identify process improvements and implement controls.
