Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, lead the month-end close, and drive GAAP-compliant financial reporting. You will mentor a small team and implement improvements to internal controls.

The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, leadership and a proactive problem-solving mindset, with remote work within Lumelight-approved states and a collaborative finance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• ~4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting or audit experience advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience in a multi-state or professional services org is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual reporting processes.
• Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Mentor a small accounting team and drive process improvements.
