Job summary

Lumelight, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, oversee the month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and strengthen internal controls. You will mentor a small accounting team and collaborate with the Controller and CFO on close processes and risk management.

The role emphasizes financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge required with ability to apply judgment to complex accounting issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to interpret financial data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of clear documentation.
• Organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and NetSuite; adaptable to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Records and approves accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, post adjustments and corrections as needed.
• Serve as SME to internal/external customers regarding requests.
• Post and review journal entries.
• Update policies and procedures related to finance and accounting.
• Manage and delegate tasks to Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO in risk mitigation and audits.
• Support annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Document processes and drive continuous improvements.
