Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and drive process improvements. You will supervise a small accounting team and partner with the Controller and CFO on audits and compliance while supporting accurate financial planning and analysis.

The role emphasizes technical accounting, internal controls, and proactive problem solving in a remote-capable setting across Lumelight states, with a standard 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Public accounting or audit experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization beneficial.
• Strong Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy.
• Manage the month-end close process and close calendars.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist the Controller and CFO with audits, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
• Mentor and lead a small accounting team to foster a high-performing environment.
