Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a small accounting team, ensure accurate GAAP-based financial reporting, and support month-end close processes. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and leadership to drive process improvements.

You will mentor staff, review core accounting functions, and assist with audits while operating in a remote setting approved for Lumelight states.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or CPA-track is preferred.
• 4+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage month-end close and supporting financial reporting.
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supervise the Staff Accountant and delegate tasks as needed.
• Support internal controls and process improvements.
