Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join the Finance team and oversee daily accounting operations, month-end close, and internal controls while supporting GAAP-compliant reporting.

The role offers remote work within approved Lumelight states and provides leadership to a small accounting team, with opportunities to improve processes and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and post adjustments.
• Serve as SME for internal/external accounting inquiries.
• Post and review journal entries.
• Update finance policies and procedures.
• Manage and delegate to Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO in risk mitigation.
• Support annual audit, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
• Document processes and drive improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
