Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting. The role combines technical accounting expertise with leadership to drive process improvement and maintain strong internal controls.

You will oversee journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while mentoring a small team and partnering with the Controller and CFO on risk assessment and audits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.
• Advanced GAAP knowledge and strong financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions in GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and correct errors.
• Manage month-end close and financial reporting support.
• Assist with the annual audit, tax returns and compliance tasks.
• Document processes and recommend improvements for all assigned duties.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a small accounting team.
