Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the finance team from a remote location across Lumelight states. The role focuses on accurate accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting with a strong emphasis on internal controls in a professional services environment.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and advanced Excel skills. Public accounting or audit background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
• Leadership experience mentoring a small accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and journal entries.
• Manage month-end close process and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting and audits.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist Controller and CFO with risk assessments and policy updates.
• Supervise Staff Accountant and delegate tasks.
