Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting. You will mentor a small accounting team, drive internal controls, and collaborate with the Controller and CFO on risk management.

The role emphasizes technical accounting expertise, leadership, and process improvement in a remote, 40-hour workweek environment across Lumelight states.

Qualifications

• ~4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Records and approves accounting transactions per GAAP.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations and provides corrections guidance.
• Assists in updating finance and accounting policies and procedures.
• Mentors a small accounting team and supports Controller and CFO.
• Assists with annual audits, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Documents processes and recommends improvements.
