Job summary

Lifelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. The role reports to the Controller and oversees day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.

You will maintain internal controls and mentor a small staff while driving process improvements. An ideal candidate has a strong GAAP background, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience with NetSuite and Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex accounting issues and provide practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize.
• Ability to collaborate within a small accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting processes and internal controls.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Mentor Staff Accountant and coordinate workload.
• Assist with audits, tax returns and compliance tasks.
• Develop and document accounting processes for continuous improvement.
