The role emphasizes internal controls, audit support, and ERP proficiency, all within a remote environment serving multiple states. Strong Excel and NetSuite skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Public accounting or audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage month-end close process and journal entries.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk mitigation.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns, and compliance tasks.
• Document processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Controller and CFO on financial planning.
