Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. The role supports GAAP-compliant processes, internal controls, and collaboration with audit and tax activities.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and advanced Excel skills, with experience in NetSuite and multi-state considerations. This is a remote role for approved Lumelight states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly/annual reporting and analytics.
• Assist the Controller, CFO and external audit and tax processes.
• Mentor and manage a small accounting team; document processes.
