Job summary

Lumelight, LLC. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance team and play a key role in GAAP accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.

This role will lead a small accounting staff, implement controls, and collaborate with the Controller and CFO to drive accuracy and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong Excel/NetSuite skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions under GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and post adjustments.
• Serve as SME to internal/external customers.
• Post and review journal entries.
• Update finance and accounting policies.
• Manage and delegate to Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO in risk mitigation.
• Assist with annual audit and tax returns.
• Document processes and drive improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
