Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting. The role reports to the Controller and mentors a small accounting team.

Responsibilities include coordinating journal entries, month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal controls. The ideal candidate has advanced Excel, NetSuite experience, and a background in public accounting or multi-state organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Public accounting or audit background is a plus; multi-state experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual financial reporting and internal controls.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a small accounting team.
• Document processes and drive continuous improvement.
