Job summary

Lumelight seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and support monthly and annual reporting. The role leads a small accounting team and reports to the Controller.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, leadership, and a proactive approach to improve processes and controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and approve accounting transactions per GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and post adjustments.
• Serve as SME to internal and external customers regarding inquiries.
• Post and review journal entries.
• Update policies and procedures related to finance and accounting activities.
• Manage and delegate tasks to the Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO in identifying and mitigating organizational risk.
• Assist with annual audit, tax returns and other compliance tasks.
• Document processes and suggest improvements for assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
