Job summary

Lumelight is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls within the finance team. The role partners with the Controller and CFO to support audits, tax returns, and annual planning, while mentoring a small staff and driving process improvements.

Candidates should have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years progressive accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Public accounting or audit experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or professional services organization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Must be open to taking on new duties and projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Support monthly and annual reporting and internal controls.
• Manage and delegate tasks to Staff Accountant.
• Assist Controller and CFO with annual audit, tax returns and compliance.
• Document processes and drive improvements across assigned duties.
