Job summary

IPEX is seeking an Account Manager to lead growth across the Cooling Tower portfolio. You will act as the senior relationship owner for customers, engineers, distributors, and internal teams, driving market strategy and profitable growth.

This is a fully remote role with up to 35% travel across the United States and Canada. You will collaborate with Sales Leadership, provide technical and commercial guidance, and manage a multi-segment territory with strong emphasis on data center cooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales and/or product management experience in waterworks distribution, cooling tower systems, data center cooling technologies.
• Working knowledge of design plans, construction processes, codes, specifications, and product applications.
• Strong technical, analytical, negotiating, and communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders while demonstrating strong business acumen.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a large multi-segment territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; familiarity with CRM.
• Basic CAD is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead business segment & market development for the cooling tower portfolio.
• Be the trusted go-to for Customer Service, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production, and Logistics.
• Drive market strategy, growth opportunities, and profitable expansion.
• Track sales trends and oversee forecast management using IBP fundamentals.
• Represent IPEX at industry, customer, and vendor events.
• Translate customer requirements into product solutions and actionable plans.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and share of wallet.
• Provide market intelligence to support business strategy and decision-making.
