Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Executive for Employee Benefits. The role focuses on managing an assigned book of business, building client relationships, and delivering multi-year strategic plans with brokers and carriers.

A strong benefits background and license are required. The position offers a fully remote workflow with optional in-person collaboration at San Francisco or San Ramon, CA locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED; college degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of related benefits insurance industry experience (brokage preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Life & Health insurance License
• Experience in managing wellness programs within large accounts preferred.
• Experience in self-funded account management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains strong client relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
• Maintains accurate and organized account files by documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates HUB systems.
• Acquires understanding of clients’ business and insurance objectives and analyzes plans for suitability.
• Gathers data and prepares/ conducts presentations (Renewal/OE/Post Renewal Debrief).
• Leads implementation of new and renewal plans or programs.
• Manages enrollment processes and coordinates with HUB Specialty Practice Teams.
• Provides benchmarking/plan assessment data and contributes to strategic planning.
