Job summary

HUB International in Sacramento, CA, seeks an Employee Benefits Account Executive to manage a book of business, build client relationships, and execute multi-year benefit strategies in collaboration with Producers.

You will analyze plans, present renewal results, coordinate with carriers, and guide clients through implementation and ongoing administration, ensuring compliance and optimal financial outcomes for large accounts. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of funding mechanisms (self-funding, level-funding, HRA, etc.)
• Designs and delivers multi-year benefit strategies aligned with client objectives
• Provides expert-level guidance on benchmarking and plan modeling
• Navigates complex compliance, vendor negotiations, and large-group underwriting
• Mastery of self-funding, level-funding, and HRAs to deliver optimized financial solutions
• Use financial data to influence carrier and client decisions

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains client relationships with employers and carriers
• Updates account files and administers enrollment systems
• Analyzes plans and prepares renewal presentations for clients and carriers
• Leads implementation of new or renewal plans and resolves escalated issues
• Provides strategic benefit guidance and benchmarking data to clients and producers
• Manages enrollment processes and client communications throughout the year
