Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in sales/marketing including account management and strategy development
• Sound knowledge, experience and skills in pricing, negotiation and contracts
• Detailed sales expertise in a relationship-based environment
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Northern California and to Hydro locations as business needs required.

Responsabilités

• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic building, construction and industrial market customers across the identified geographic territory.
• Develop account plans that expand market share, improve customer retention, and deliver profitable growth.
• Build a qualified pipeline of new opportunities involving extruded aluminum products, fabrication, finishing, and thermal solutions.
• Understand each customer’s applications, project cycles, technical requirements, buying process, competitive alternatives, and long-term growth priorities.
• Lead commercial discussions involving quotations, territory market trends, pricing, contracts, volume commitments, forecasts, and account profitability.
• Coordinate with customer service, operations, planning, engineering, quality, credit, and regional leadership to support onboarding and reliable execution.
• Provide customers with clear, proactive communication regarding lead times, outages, service issues, order status, and recovery plans when needed.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, annual budgets, market maps, opportunity records, account activity, and pipeline updates in Salesforce and other required systems.
• Follow up on quotations, drawing approvals, FAI & PPAP samples, tooling, and PO timing to keep opportunities moving forward.
• Participate in collection efforts, dispute resolution, claims communication, quality validation, and service recovery when required.
• Monitor and report market trends, competitor activity, customer investment plans, and emerging applications to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Hydro professionally at customer meetings, project reviews, industry events, and plant visits while following Hydro’s Code of Conduct and policies.
