Hydro Extrusions is seeking an Account Executive to lead customer growth and relationships across the Southwest United States. The role focuses on aligning customer needs with Hydro's extrusion capabilities, spanning technical and commercial aspects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of sales/marketing experience with account management, pricing, contracts, and a proven ability to build strategic partnerships. Remote work with significant travel will be involved.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales/marketing experience with account management and strategy development.
• Pricing, negotiation and contracts experience required.
• Strong relationship-based sales expertise.
• Willingness to travel 50-65% across Northern California and Hydro sites.
• Travel averages 3-4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Building & Construction and industrial customers in the Southwest US.
• Develop account plans to expand market share and profitability.
• Build a pipeline for extruded aluminum products, fabrication, finishing, and thermal solutions.
• Understand customer applications, project cycles, and buying processes.
• Lead commercial discussions on quotations, pricing, contracts, forecasts and profitability.
• Coordinate with service, operations, planning, engineering, and QA for onboarding and execution.
• Provide proactive communication on lead times, outages, order status, and recovery plans.
• Maintain forecasts, budgets, market maps, and opportunity records in Salesforce.
• Follow up on quotations, drawings, samples, tooling, and PO timing.
• Support collections, dispute resolution, quality validation, and service recovery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer investment plans.
• Represent Hydro professionally at meetings, reviews, events, and plant visits.
