Job summary

Norsk Hydro is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow market share in the Northeast region for aluminum extrusion products. You will focus on value-added services such as fabrication, anodize, and non-automotive applications within Hydro's network.

The role requires 5–10 years in front-line sales and account management, with travel of 50% or more. A marketing or business degree or equivalent experience is preferred, plus strong pricing/negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of aluminum extrusion sales/account management experience.
• Marketing or business degree or equivalent in education/experience.
• Pricing, negotiation and contracts knowledge.
• Experience selling value-added fabrication/machining/anodize.

Responsibilities

• Interface with prospects/customers and represent the company to the customer base.
• Develop customer relationships to grow market share.
• Sell according to the company sales strategy and policies.
• Establish and grow a new business pipeline within existing and new customers.
• Perform forecasting, analyses, reports and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with customer service and plant operations to resolve issues.
• Prepare updates and special reports as required.
• Lead special projects defined by Region Sales Manager/Commercial Leadership.
