Job summary

WM is seeking an Account Associate I to serve as a key contact for our Small/Medium business customers. Working in a team-based queue, you will focus on retention and growth by handling inbound requests and proactive outreach, aiming to prevent cancellations and secure updated contracts.

This remote role requires residence within 50 miles of the Baltimore, MD or Pittsburgh, PA metro areas and offers base pay of $20.00-$21.00 per hour plus monthly commissions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• 1 year B2B account management, inside sales (phone based sales), and/or customer service experience that includes a sales component.

Responsibilities

• Drives customer actions with focused, compelling communication.
• Uses change management processes to meet sales role demands.
• Allocates time to retention and acquisition goals, requirements, and opportunities.
• Explores alternatives to reach mutually beneficial sales agreements.
• Contributes to team-based responsibilities and outcomes.
• Navigates multiple systems and processes to document customer interactions accurately.
• Uses WM sales tools (Salesforce and pricing tools) consistently.
• Analyzes reports and handles general administrative duties as needed.
