Job summary

WM is seeking an Account Associate I for its Small/Medium business customers. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Baltimore, MD or Pittsburgh, PA metro areas.

You will work in a team-based queue to retain and grow the book of business, handling inbound requests and proactive outreach. Success comes from strong retention strategies, skilled negotiation, and alignment with WM's growth objectives, using Salesforce and pricing tools to document interactions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• 1 year B2B account management, inside sales (phone based sales), and/or customer service experience that includes a sales component

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow the team's book of business by managing inbound requests and proactive outreach.
• Communicate in a focused, compelling way to influence customer actions.
• Allocate time to retention and acquisition goals and explore mutually beneficial sales agreements.
• Document interactions accurately across multiple systems and CRM tools.
• Use sale productivity software (Salesforce and pricing tools) effectively.
• Analyze reports and perform general administrative duties as needed.
