Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn the full process of administering, testing and reporting on 401(k) plans. Through accelerated learning, you will quickly grow from document review to administering basic plans.

You will review documents submitted by clients, proactively keep clients updated on progress and help clients understand the year-end reporting documents necessary to complete government filings, including the annual 5500 return.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with document review and transaction processing in back-office roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience preferred (401k/IRA, 5500, year-end reporting).

Aufgaben

• Work with clients to gather information for annual reporting.
• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and admin software.
• Complete 401(k) testing and reporting.
• Prepare government filings such as IRS Form 5500.
• Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration.
