Job summary

Guidant Financial is hiring for a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn the full process of administering, testing, and reporting 401(k) plans from documents to year-end filings. You will grow quickly through training and hands-on experience while helping clients navigate reporting requirements.

As part of a remote-friendly team, you will review client submissions, perform plan reconciliations, and communicate progress. A strong Excel foundation and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing as daily job responsibilities.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare the annual reporting.
• Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans and perform plan testing using Excel and administration software.
• Prepare required 401(k) filings, including IRS Form 5500, using filing software.
• Educate clients regarding 401(k) plan administration.
